Literacy Legends Waterstones Trip Summer Term

On Wednesday 13th July 2016 14 students visited Waterstones in Nottingham with Mrs Litherland and Ms Marris: treated to a book up to the value of £10.00 and a Hot Chocolate from Costa Cafe in the shop. Students enjoyed a browse, books chosen included:

This activity is part of the Literacy Legends Inter-Tutor set competition; students are chosen by Mrs Litherland and Ms Marris for varying achievements associated with reading including taking part in 'Booktrust Challenges', giving time up to be a Student Librarian, use of the Learning Lounge, Peer Reading, past borrowing figures and changed attitudes to reading...
