Best ever GCSE results

84% of students have achieved 5+ A*-C including English and Maths (Whole School - 21/08/2014)

Toot Hill School in Bingham, Nottinghamshire is pleased to announce its best ever GCSE results.

84% of students have achieved 5+ A*-C including English and maths and for the 5th year running 100% of students have achieved 5+ A*-C. Toot Hill has surpassed its previous high of 81%.

Ash Rahman, Head of School responded:

"These results are a direct result of the hard work and perseverance shown by our students and staff over the last 5 years. With more rigorous grade boundaries, changes to controlled assessments and no opportunity to re-sit exams, these results are a significant achievement and every one of our students should be immensely proud of their achievements.

I would also like to thank our teaching and support staff for their intelligent and tireless commitment to our students, both during lessons and in the wider opportunities they provide students outside of normal lessons.
