Poem by Olivia Whitelaw 7.4

The School Library

Every day I check the books,
To see if anyone has had any looks.
I need to check the books are bound,
And none have fallen to the ground.
Which means it is never dull.

Busy with the books to date and stamp,
The Librarians hands whizzing quick, quick, quick.
Hands so fast, she nearly has a cramp.
Hopefully no-one will pull a trick.
