At KS3 homework forms an important part of the students development. Each term students will be given a lengthy homework, which will stretch over a number of weeks. This can vary from an artist research page to creating a response to a particular culture. For each homework students are encouraged to take risks and to try and present their work in a creative and imaginative way that matches their theme or artist.
Students will also receive short term homework’s to help support their development in lessons, these will range from simply collecting images to work from to gathering materials to use within their week, these will usually last only a week.
Finally in preparation for upcoming assessments students will be set revision sheets to help ensure they are fully prepared for their upcoming assessments, and feel confident fully confident.
