Gifted & Talented Provision in ICT
Here in the ICT department we are committed to providing a challenging curriculum for all pupils regardless of ability throughout Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. We aim to provide multiple opportunities throughout your life at Toot Hill School where we can identify, and in turn nurture, those who are gifted and talented in Computing and ICT.
The ICT department has designated G & T representative. The current representative is Miss Dixon (ADI) who can be contacted on: ADixon@toothillschool.co.uk.
Throughout your first two years here at Toot Hill we cover a wide range of ICT/Computing aspects which will give you a good knowledge and skills base to help advance onto our GCSE courses.
It is highly recommended that you begin practicing your programming languages if you are coming onto the GCSE Computing course.
Top top up your skills or even if you are a beginner these two websites will get you on your way:
