Sample Unit - Prejudice and discrimination

In this unit we will explore how different different groups within society have been affected by the issues of prejudice and discrimination. They will then be asked to consider, what can be done to prevent this from happening again.

In this unit of work we will try to answer some of the following questions:

  • Should everyone be teated the same?
  • Why does discrimination happen?
  • What do the world religions teach us about equality?
  • Can everyone live in harmony?

Assessment Example: Discursive essay on issies surrounding equality.
