In Years 7 & 8 homework is set on a weekly basis but only for half of each term as per the schools homework timetable.
At Key Stage 4 there is an expectation that at least 1 hour per week is committed outside of lessons, both on set homework tasks but also extending their studies and (when applicable) continuing their controlled assessment.
At A level there is on-going coursework which requires a significant commitment of time out of the lesson. We recommend that at least 2 hours per week is committed in addition to lesson time.
