Ms Marris visits Booktrust's Battersea Studios
Ms Marris was invited on Tuesday 16th May to travel to the Book Trust offices at Battersea Studios to join a panel selecting new books for the School Library Packs for Secondary Schools.
Book Trust is the UK's largest children's reading charity. Each year they reach 2.5 million children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading.
Ms Marris said “This was a fantastic experience.” We are hoping to be involved with other Book Trust events in the future sharing the Learning Lounge’s ‘BookTrust Challenge’ concept with other school Libraries. There are going to be some great Booktrust books for next years challenges!
