THINK BIG! Creativity and Careers at the year 10 STEM morning

The Nottingham Forest Community Trust have continued their fantastic support for Toot Hill School with another series of successful events centred around Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) in sport.

They visited last Friday to speak to the whole of year 10 and gave some valuable insight into Tech in sport and STEM careers and apprenticeships, particularly relating to local apprenticeship provider and "Think Big" partner Ideagen.

They came back again today to work with a smaller group of year 10 students who participated in three hands-on STEM workshops with a focus on Coding, marketing and accessibility in sport. The students got a lot out of the experience and it provided food for thought as the students start to consider their next steps and future careers.

We look forward to hopefully working with Forest and Ideagen in 2024. Look out also for further STEM careers trips out to apprenticeship providers later in the school year.

Thanks to staff from NFCT and Toot Hill for making it happen and well done to the students for your positive contributions during the morning.
