Author of the month - Sept 2017 - Cassandra Clare
This month the Learning Lounge is celebrating one of your favourite authors! Cassandra Clare is famous for her dark romantic novels where she explores worlds of demons. Her novels are split into three main series, The Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices. Her brand new book 'Lord of Shadows' carries on The Dark Artifices series.
To really celebrate her books the Learning Lounge has created a little reading quiz for you to partake in. Simply read through an excerpt of City of Bones and answer the text based questions. You will be rewarded with 10 credit points if you manage to complete it.
So pop by the Learning Lounge this month and get to know all about Cassandra Clare and her amazing books!

Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing―not even a smear of blood―to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
