Brian Conaghan - Author Visit
This year the Learning Lounge gifted all Year 7's with a copy of Cardboard Cowboys which is written by Brian Conaghan. The book features themes such as bullying and homelessness and is set in Scotland.
Brian visited Toot Hill School this week and gave an author talk to all Year 7's, he then ran a writing workshop with Years 7-13 and stayed to sign books and answer questions at lunchtime. The day was a roaring success and Brian entertained all students.
