We Will Rock You!
Yesterday, the cast, band and crew of We Will Rock You ROCKED Jubilee Hall in Bingham!
On opening night, Thomas Markwick and Izzy Davies left the audience stunned (and a few in tears!) at their stupendous vocal talents which blended beautifully together. Jack Forth and Ellie Adey left the audience in awe at their vibrancy and such powerful (and funny) acting skills. Sydney Adams as Buddy was hillarious! Lucy Tomlinson as the Killer Queen, Alessio Corah as Khashoggi, Daniel Goodman and the secret police scared the audience and made them laugh in equal measure to create a superb contrast with the rebellious leads. The Ga Ga Kids, Rebels, Doctors and of course gold-clad Yuppies were just fantastic! The group scenes were powerful, beautifully acted and were so energetic it got the audience clapping and singing along. Ryan McDade, Ruby Chan, Kylia Pai, Oscar Ferrar were joined by Thomas Herbert, Mike Holt and Kieran Seymour to make the stunning band. They played expertly, with passion and professionalism - it was truly an experience to behold! The backstage team were absolutely excellet - Caitlin Barber on sound, Jacob Bodkin on lights, Harry Davies and Idina Vanhorn on follow-spots and the rest of the technical crew worked so hard on this show. The afternoon dress rehearsal matinee in front of primary pupils from Canarvon, Orston and Robert Miles Primary Schools ended in a standing ovation!
We are so proud of everyone involved - good luck with show number 2!!!
