Ada Lovelace Day 2023: Fantastic STEM workshops were a great experience.

A group of year 8 girls with an interest in STEM, travelled to MediCity on the Boots campus. (STEM Pathways - 11/10/2023)

Tuesday 10th October was Ada Lovelace Day where, every year, we draw inspiration from one of the great female pioneers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM.)

We were delighted to be invited to MediCity on the Boots campus in Nottingham, to work with inspirational female scientists in a series of 4, hands-on, STEM activities. Year 8 girls with an interest in future STEM careers applied to a place on the trip and the group were positive throughout; asking insightful questions, getting their hands dirty and engaging in conversation with the scientists.
